Management postion in the sailboat charter/vacation industry,
sailing
charter captain and keelboat instructor, all levels. Also
available for private instruction and clinics aboard my own
yacht as well as charters, daysails and delivery services.
Summary
Received USCG 50-ton Masters License in June 2004, upgraded
to 100-ton in 2009.
Owner/operator of 'Imi Loa, Catalina 34 #582 berthed at
South Beach Harbor, San Francisco since 1996. Have sailed
extensively on San Francisco, San Pablo and Monterey Bays
both recreationally and as an instructor.
Have completed three Doublehanded Farallones races; 1998,
2000 and 2002.
Have skippered yachts in two Antigua Sailing Week events
in 1999 and 2000, the Heineken Regatta in 2004 and was helmsman
in the 2004 St. Francis/Rolex Big Boat Series. Also cruised
the Leeward Islands in 2001 and St. Vincent and the Grenadines
in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and Guadeloupe and the Saintes in
2008.
